Last Thursday, Italian duo Crookers decided to split. It was a really sad day because they've been influenting me since long time ago. I was planning to post some "remember track" from them, but fortunately, as they announced, Crookers will continue with only one member (personally, my favourite...) and he has created this mixtape "don't be sad" to hear some new tracks "from him", and after hearing it it really made me happy: Crookers is not dead!

Here we have another great remix from Martin Plan B, one of the best Spanish DJ's. I'm really amazed about how many tracks he can be remixed in some minutes: a kind of "mash-up DJ", but he really differentiate all the tracks and create a great rhythm. HUGOLO - HUGOLOOPS 03 (21/07/2012)

I hope everybody is having a great weekend. Yesterday I stayed at home so I decided to create my own party. So here you have the result of it, I'm really proud of the sound because know I'm starting to use new effects I didn't dare to touch very much and I'm trying new ways of mixing. I bought my mixer in October, and I thought that after one year I would be close to be an expert or something like that, and that's not true, you learn something new everyday and get new ideas to make things differently... But most of all you should like whatever you do and don't care about doing it wrong or not liking people.

Jack Beats is one of my favourites formations and their style is completely unique and here we have an special mixtape with a compilation of their creations and remixes. This is their comment to this mixtape:

Here is ‘Evolution’- a mixtape which we’ve made as a preview to our forthcoming release: ‘Careless’- the first of 2 mini albums we’re dropping over the next few months. We feel this shorter album format works better with our style of music, and that’s why we’ve decided to essentially split our album project into 2 releases, as opposed to 1. ‘Careless’ features new tracks and collabs with Diplo, Dillon Francis, Example & Takura, and drops on OWSLA (beatport only) Aug 7th, and then as a full worldwide release Sept 10th through Columbia. This is an exclusive 90min recording (well, in fact I've just recorded it ;D) from Major Lazer's show in Gdynia, Poland, at Heineken Open'er Festival that was aimed on Youtube Live a few minutes ago.
